What Items Will I Receive in With My Telostrand Test?

Depending on the test kit you’ve ordered, you will receive a biohazard bag, an alcohol pad for sanitation, urine cup (urine collection), DNA swab/tube (DNA Collection), COVID-19 swab/tube, and a return clinical shipping pack. Please revert to our instructions page for more information.

Can I Purchase Telostrand Tests In Every State? Are Telostrand Items Available Internationally?

Our laboratory test kits are available in most states (except New York and Hawaii because of their specific regulations around testing). Telostrand’s tests are not currently available overseas. If you wish to be informed on when our test kits will become available in your area, please email us at cs@telostrand.com.

Am I Eligible To Purchase Telostrand Tests For Use At-Home?

If you are over the age of 18 and located within the United States of America (except in the states of New York and Hawaii), you are able to purchase our test kits.

Are Telostrand Tests Covered By My Insurance Company?

Telostrand Laboratory is a CLIA licensed facility. If a patient wishes to receive reimbursement for their test kit, they are welcome to submit a claim to their insurance company after testing. Proper documentation can be given to the patient through their patient portal. The patient is responsible for submitting their own claim.

What Is Telostrand’s Refund Policy?

Telostrand is unable to issue any refunds due to regulation and safety protocols. If you come into any issues, please do email cs@telostrand.com.

Do I Need To Register My Test Kit?

No! We are the laboratory where your samples are processed. When your test kit is delivered to your door, it is already properly documented in our system. We take that hassle out for you to ensure that the at-home testing process is simple and easy.

Can I Purchase A Test Kit If I’ve Already Been Diagnosed With A Known Health Condition?

Yes! However, we recommend reviewing the results with your doctors before making any changes to your day-to-day care.

When Will I Get My Results?

All samples are processed within 48 hours of arriving at the laboratory. We’ve built in shipping credits into the costs of our tests to ensure that the samples are shipped as fast as possible.
