At Telostrand, we like to solve problems. And, like all innovations, this started with one.
We were told the incubator could be used in our growing laboratory, but when the tune changed, our small company was on the hook for something we could no longer use. Because of this problem, we created our patent-pending methodology, Telostrand Cloud (our own empiric database).
We are proud to announce our newest embodiment:
an empiric database for antimicrobial sensitivity and resistance.
For this embodiment, Telostrand Cloud uses standard nucleic acid amplification methods to identify the organisms present and provide accurate antibiotic sensitivity (based on published, peer-reviewed antimicrobial data). This innovative embodiment, paired with our guaranteed 24hr. turnaround time, changes the game of patient care (eliminating the five-day turnaround time for most culture and sensitivity assays).
Currently, Telostrand Cloud is used for UTIs, STDs, wounds, and fungal infections. Additional embodiments for our patent-pending methodology are currently being developed. We are excited to share them with the world.
